This privacy policy explains how Jooier B.V. (“we”, “us”, “Marktspan”) collects, uses, stores, and protects your personal data when you use our website and services. Personal data we collect

  • Account data: name, email address, and password (hashed) when you register.
  • Workspace data: company name, VAT number, and address you provide for invoicing profiles.
  • Marketplace credentials: API keys for connected marketplace accounts (stored encrypted server-side).
  • Usage data: with analytics consent, anonymous resource page, content, filter, referral, and CTA events. Marketing analytics do not store email, IP address, fingerprints, or raw user agents.
  • Optional content updates: email address, language, source page, topic preferences, consent time, and subscription status when you join the update list. No update email is sent until a verified delivery and unsubscribe provider is configured.
  • Communication data: messages you send us via email or support channels.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, operating system, and device identifiers collected through server logs.

  • Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)): for analytics and marketing cookies, and for optional communications.
  • Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)): to comply with tax, accounting, and regulatory requirements.

Third-party processors

We use the following categories of third-party service providers who process data on our behalf under appropriate data-processing agreements:

  • Cloud infrastructure: Vercel (hosting), Supabase (database and auth), Cloudflare (CDN and workers).
  • Payment processing: Stripe (subscription billing).
  • Email delivery: Nodemailer / SMTP provider for transactional emails.
  • Marketplace APIs: Bol.com and other connected marketplaces for data synchronization.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

Data retention

We retain your personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy:

  • Account data: retained for the duration of your account plus 30 days after deletion.
  • Invoicing and financial data: retained for 7 years as required by Dutch tax law.
  • Usage and analytics data: aggregated and anonymised within 26 months.
  • Server logs: automatically purged after 90 days.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Right of access (Art. 15): obtain a copy of your data.
  • Right to rectification (Art. 16): correct inaccurate data.
  • Right to erasure (Art. 17): request deletion of your data.
  • Right to restriction (Art. 18): limit how we process your data.
  • Right to data portability (Art. 20): receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
  • Right to object (Art. 21): object to processing based on legitimate interest.
  • Right to withdraw consent: withdraw consent at any time without affecting lawfulness of prior processing.

Children's privacy

Our services are not directed at individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such data, please contact us so we can delete it promptly.
